This has been a great place to live during the remainder of my time in Flagstaff. Many of the neighbors are friendly, courteous, and sociable. It's got a good atmosphere to it, open, far from cramped in even the smallest units, and no smells coming in from other apartment units.
The property managers have been great, Carter in particular. And being able to access the gym at any time has been very well received.
However, the staff blasting Christmas music in the clubhouse starting in November is something that I found to be extremely grating on my nerves. I have nothing against Christians or their holidays, but in a neighborhood where a significant portion of the population is Muslim, atheist, and more, I find it to be rather inappropriate to promote a single religious holiday over all others, especially when it's over a month before the holiday even occurs. If this place is to remain an inclusive neighborhood, then it must remain neutral in such matters.
Beyond that, it has been little short of a treat to live here. Just be careful of some of the neighbors' muscle cars. I've nearly been hit by some of those hotheads speeding around corners when I'm walking through the lot to the bus stop.
We are happy to hear you enjoy living at Mountain Trail Apartments. We never intended to offend with our Sounds of the Season music compilation and we will take your suggestion for next holiday season.
